Watch what you want, when you want!
The Straits Times RazorTV is an online television service that broadcasts live from Singapore Press Holding’s (SPH) Multimedia Centre.
With a strong emphasis on hyper-local content, RazorTV is a unique convergence of web TV and social networking that delivers news and lifestyle content that is young, hip, with an informal tone presented by fresh faces. News and views are raw and edgy, unlike traditional TV broadcasts.
Amanda began her career as a broadcast journalist in 2004. She has covered a wide range of stories, including parliamentary sittings, general elections, community issues, defense and sports. Much like the music he listens to, from pop to progressive metal, Bryan brings his energy and spontaneity to Razor TV. A proudly self-professed gamer-geek, he wastes his weekends away escaping in a world of lights and sounds, and often wishes life had a "pause" button. Bryan graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Media, majoring in TV/Film and brings his knowledge of being behind the camera, to better direct himself when he is in front of it. The self-taught drummer doesn't just walk to the beat of a different drum, he is the drums.
Christina was a teacher before joining RazorTV. She found it interesting as she taught conversational English to kids at a Japanese school. They were delightful, but sometimes a handful to control but always ready to share. Christina has always had an interest in different cultures and loves talking to people and hopes to continue to meet people from all walks of life while at RazorTV.
Daryl is tall. Not too tall that the tips of his spikey hair brushes the ceiling when he strides into the room, but tall enough to ram his forehead into the upper bits of the door frame of a bus as he hurriedly exits. His friends tell him that his complexion resembles an orange peel. For that reason, he talks in the third person and likes to read and travel.
Eva has so many interests it's hard to keep track of the countless things she does just to keep her life interesting. From salsa dancing to learning French, she busies herself with pretty much anything and everything under the sun. Having just graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a diploma in Mass Communication, Eva just couldn't wait to get out into the "real" world and experience life for what it's worth. When she's not reporting for events she just spends her day listening to music. If you want to know the secret to her heart, just bring up the topic of Eric Clapton.
As Singaporean as they come, E-von Yeung is as comfortable chugging down bak chor mee at kopitiams as she is tasting wine and cheese at cellars. Why, she loves both Mandarin pop and classical music, is a rock-pop keyboardist, and was once a trumpet player with the Singapore Youth Orchestra. She’ll bring to you issues that bother everyday Singaporeans - from ERP woes to the Malaysian by-elections. On RazorTV's current affairs show Point Blank, that's where the Singapo-lian is in her element. She gets right there on the ground and susses it out - whether it's in cosy kopitiams or snazzy wine bars, HDB flats or condominiums. The 'lian' keeps it real.

Poh Kwan is a recent Communication Research grad from NTU. As an undergraduate, she had opportunities to present her research papers on the skin lightening phenomenon and online news reading habits with her professors and teammates at UNESCO’s academic conferences. The favorite hangouts in Singapore for this Ipoh-born girl include the Jurong Regional Library, Pasir Ris cycling trail, Party World KTV and the beautiful mazes of twists and turns at Bugis and Katong. Her biggest aspirations are to be able to witness the end of all oppressive regimes and the release of all prisoners of conscience in her lifetime.
Nose in a book. Eyes glued to computer. That’s probably how you would find Sara when she has even the slightest bit of spare time on her hands. The "RazorTV" glamour girl, who graduated with double major in Sociology and Literature, usually is as bubbly as she is on camera, but don't be shocked to see her sitting quietly in the corner, watching life go by. A self professed marathon shopper and bargain hunter who claims shopping should be made an Olympic sport, she often laments being a homebody trapped in a party animal shell. Three things she can't live without: Chilli, Chocolate and CHICK LIT!
Having graduated from NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication, Shi Ting was all excited to step into the field of journalism which has always intrigued her since campus days. Now, with adrenaline constantly pumping through her veins while reading Razor’s Top 5 or out in the field reporting a breaking story, Shi Ting hopes keep her on her toes and at the same time be able to 'kaypoh' her way through the heartlands of Singapore.
